Owned by the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway and its successors, including the CSX Corporation, the hotel's history is now intertwined with local entrepreneur Jim Justice and his company, the Justice Family Group, LLC. After years of financial struggle, CSX declared bankruptcy in 2009, leading to Justice's purchase of the property. By guaranteeing all debts, Justice was able to dismiss the bankruptcy and take on the challenge of restoring the hotel to its former glory as a five-star resort.

One unique aspect of the Greenbrier is its underground bunker, initially built as an emergency shelter for the United States Congress during the Cold War. While the hotel and its championship golf courses stand as the main attractions, this massive underground structure adds a touch of intrigue to the property.

This photo reproduction, part of the West Virginia Collection within the Carol M. Highsmith Archive at the Library of Congress, captures the essence of the Greenbrier. Printed on thick luster photographic paper with archival giclee inks, this museum-quality artwork is designed to last for years. Each reprint is made to order in the USA, with meticulous attention to image quality and color reproduction, ensuring that the historical character of the photograph is retained. It's a stylish addition to any room's decor, whether your design aesthetic leans towards modern or classic.

Your unframed poster will be shipped to you in a sturdy mailing tube, crease-free and ready for frame placement. The poster's dimensions are designed to fit easily into standard size frames, such as 16x20, 16x24, 18x24, 24x30, and 24x36, saving you the hassle and expense of custom framing.

Please note that the printed picture will not have any watermarks, and any blemishes, tears, or stamps present in the original photo may have been removed in the final print. This reproduction serves as a reminder of the Greenbrier's rich history and can also make a thoughtful gift for history enthusiasts or fans of luxury resorts.
